About
I started as an actor, and I still edit like one. I watch for the breath before a line, the look that lands a beat late, the moment a scene quietly changes direction. That's where I cut.
I grew up in Houston and trained at the AFI Conservatory, where I edited or assisted on 20 films. Since then I've cut short films, comedy specials, podcasts and a lot of vertical drama, which teaches you to earn every second. My favorite place is the edit bay with a director, finding the film together one take at a time.
